2012 Capital Projects Public Meetings

The Alaska Railroad recently scheduled a round of open house meetings designed to introduce the public to annual plans for capital improvements. Meetings include static displays on about 30 major projects, and project managers are in attendence to answer questions. Schedule of upcoming 2012 Program of Project (POP) Open Houses:

  • Anchorage - 4:00 - 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at the Anchorage Historic Depot (Ship Creek basin), at 411 First Avenue. 
     
  • Wasilla - 4:00 - 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Evangelo's Restaurant off the Parks Highway in south Wasilla.
     
  • Fairbanks - 4:00 - 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at the Alaska Railroad Depot, 1745 Johansen Expressway. 
     
  • Seward - 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., February 17, 2012, at Breeze Inn. Held in conjunction with Seward Chamber membership luncheon, at which ARRC is the guest speaker, Noon-1:00 p.m.
