This full-day adventure showcases the best of Southcentral Alaska. Travel aboard the Coastal Classic Train from Anchorage to Seward, traveling along scenic Turnagain Arm, past a series of backcountry glaciers and through the Placer River Valley. Upon arrival to the seaside town of Seward, embark on a 6-hour coastal catamaran cruise with Kenai Fjords Tours. Explore the dramatic coastline of Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park. Experience superb wildlife viewing in the Chiswell Islands Wildlife Refuge and get an up-close view of tidewater glaciers. Lunch is included onboard the cruise. That evening, make the return journey to Anchorage on the Coastal Classic.

Itinerary:

  • Depart Anchorage on the Coastal Classic Train at 6:45 am, arriving to Seward at 11:05 am
  • Depart Seward by glacier cruise at 11:30 am, returning at 5:30 pm
  • Depart Seward on the Coastal Classic Train at 6:00 pm, arriving to Anchorage at 10:15 pm
