Winter season reveals a "cool" side of Alaska best seen by train.
Rail only reservations can be made online using the Rail Search menu option in the left menu. Select weekend dates to search for tickets. The Aurora runs northbound Anchorage to Fairbanks on Saturdays, and southbound Fairbanks to Anchorage on Sundays. The Aurora also runs on select mid-week dates in February and March.
