Ground tour north from Fairbanks in the personalized comfort of a 15-passenger tour van.

This 13 – 15 hour tour has frequent restroom breaks along the way. The longest time period between stops is about 2 ½ hours. Travel the rugged Dalton Highway, the solitary land route of Alaska’s Arctic wilderness.

• Traverse the mighty Yukon River; and explore up close the amazing arctic tundra and feel the veins of ice just beneath the surface. View the remarkable Trans Alaska Pipeline.
• Visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post located in the rural community of Joy, Alaska.
• On a clear day, view the Brooks Mountain range stretching across the northern horizon.
• Cross the Arctic Circle in ceremonious fashion and receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate.

Bring your camera and extra batteries/film! Dress in layers and bring warm winter weight boots, a winter coat, cap, scarf and gloves or mittens. This tour does not include meals. We suggest packing a lunch or you can purchase meals along the route. Participants in this tour should be of reasonable health and physical condition.
