There is pay-parking available across from the Anchorage Depot and across from the Comfort Inn. The Fairbanks, Talkeetna, Seward and Wasilla stations offer limited free parking.
Wasilla Historic Depot

The historic depot in Wasilla is where the train stops to pick up passengers, however it is not staffed by the Alaska Railroad. The building is leased to the Wasilla Chamber of Commerce, and is often closed and locked at train arrival/departure times.
Passengers who are boarding at Wasilla should park their vehicles in the designated gravel area at least 10 feet from the tracks. Passengers board on the same side of the tracks as the depot building. The area is not sheltered from the elements, so please dress for the weather.
When the train arrives, be prepared to show your ID to the Conductor or the onboard supervisor, and they will give you a boarding pass which will have your seat assignment.
The train must stop traffic at the Wasilla depot, so passengers should be ready to board as quickly as possible.

There is no regular passenger train service between the airport depot and the historic Anchorage depot located in downtown Anchorage.
ONLY GRANDVIEW CRUISE TRAIN PASSENGERS DEPART FROM THIS DEPOT. ALL OTHER ANCHORAGE PASSENGERS DEPART FROM THE HISTORIC ANCHORAGE DEPOT.
Whittier

There are no Alaska Railroad facilities available in Whittier. The Glacier Discovery Train loads and off-loads passengers in the white tented area across from the cruise ship terminal and the marina.
