This six-day trip showcases the beauty of two of the nation’s most spectacular national parks – Kenai Fjords National Park and Denali National Park.
Spend the first few days at Denali including 12-hours on the ultimate backcountry adventure into the heart of the park. Then it’s south to Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park via Resurrection Bay with its abundant marine wildlife and stunning coastline.
A close-up view and raft trip at Spencer Glacier is also on the itinerary. Take a guided nature walk with a park ranger and then float the serene waters down the Placer River Valley.

Day 1: Arrive in Anchorage and Stay the night.
Day 2: Experience Alaska's scenic treasures on the Denali Star Train - Anchorage to Denali, 8:15 am - 3:45 pm. Stay the night in Denali-includes Alaska Cabin Night dinner show at 5:30pm or 8:30pm.
Day 3: Denali Backcountry Adventure - travel the entire restricted road through Denali on this 13.5-hour tour. Overnight in Denali.
Day 4: Travel by rail from Denali to Anchorage on the Denali Star, 12:15 pm - 8:00 pm. Stay the night in Anchorage.
Day 5: Coastal Classic Train - Anchorage to Seward, 6:45 am - 11:05 am. Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise, 11:30 am - 5:30 pm. Coastal Classic Train - Seward to Girdwood, 6:00 pm - 8:55 pm. Overnight at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood.
Day 6: Glacier Discovery Train - Girdwood to Spencer Glacier, 11:15 am - 1:30 pm. Float among the icebergs at Spencer Glacier and down the Placer River. Short train ride to Portage follows float tour. Motorcoach transfer from Portage to Anchorage, 5:20 pm - 6:45 pm.
