Sunday spend the day visiting the 18th annual World Ice Art championships. Fairbanks hosts the world's largest ice art competition and exhibition with over 70 teams from all over the world.
The competitions and the kids' park attract more than 100 ice artists and
approximately 45,000 visitors from Alaska and all over the world. Get ready for art like you've never seen it before.
Ride the train from Anchorage to Fairbanks and return on Alaska Airlines or fly to Fairbanks and return via the Aurora Winter Train, Fairbanks to Anchorage. You can also opt to add additional night stays in Fairbanks.
