Enjoy the long Alaskan summer days by hiking the beautiful Chugach Mountains from Anchorage. Ascending Path Anchorage Day Hike

This hiking trip is great for families and groups, ages 7-70 years old. No previous experience necessary. Each hike is tailored to your hiking and fitness levels.

Your naturalist guide will point out and discuss the flora and fauna of these unique coastal alpine mountains. Some of the animals spotted have included: moose, bear, Dall sheep, marmot, arctic ground squirrels, red fox, wolverine, and numerous bird species.

Anchorage Day Hike includes:

transportation from your downtown Hotel to trailhead;
a guided naturalist hike in the valleys and peaks surrounding Anchorage; and
bottled water and snack.

WHAT DO I WEAR/BRING?

Please wear comfortable, warm clothes; dress in layers; and wear hiking boots or running shoes. You may also want to bring a backpack. Don't forget your camera!
