4 Hour Scenic Rafting with Lunch

The Four Hour scenic is the perfect trip for families. It is just like the “Full Day”, but without the whitewater. This is a guided trip skirting the boundaries of Denali National Park down the glacier-fed Nenana River.

Experience beautiful scenery, enjoy a tasty picnic lunch, and keep your eyes out for wildlife as you journey 24 miles down the river.

This is a mild scenic raft tour which combines two hours on the upper Nenana with the McKinley Run Class I to III rapids.

This trip offers an excellent opportunity to experience wildlife in its natural environment and to travel the Great North Land as our early settlers traveled. This trip offers a short hike (time permitting) and lunch served right on the river!

Canyon Run

Tour Price: $89 + rail fare (12 and over)

Hang on! It’s whitewater ahead! You’ll get wet and enjoy every minute of it as you head for Healy, 11 miles down river.

Get into real whitewater rafting as you hang on through thrilling rapids such as “Cable Car”, “Coffee Grinder”, and “Ice Worm”.

Choose between: oar rafts and let the guide do all the work while you enjoy the ride or paddle rafts and be a member of the team. Must be 15 years of age or older for the paddle raft option.

This tour has several departure times: 7am, 10am, 3pm, 5pm, and 6pm.

Full Day Rafting

Tour Price: $183 (12 and over only) + rail fare

Guided scenic trip skirting the boundaries of Denali National Park down the glacier-fed Nenana River. This trip offers an excellent opportunity to experience wildlife in its natural environment and to travel the Great North Land as our early settlers traveled.

This trip offers a short hike (time permitting) and lunch served right on the river! After lunch you are in for the ride of your lifetime through the Nenana River Gorge!

(Includes McKinley and Canyon Runs plus an additional 2 hours of scenic mild water and lunch)

Healy Run

Begin with the McKinley Run, a spectacular trip over class II, III waters through the most scenic and beautiful portion of the Nenana River.

Continue on with the Canyon Run! Hang On! It’s whitewater ahead! You’ll get wet and enjoy every minute of it as you head for Healy.
