This exciting tour will take you 130 miles round-trip through Denali State Park and into the National Wild River Park of “Devil’s Gorge”, where only few have ventured.

tour is designed for the traveler wishing to experience the thrill of the ultimate Alaskan river experience, including class 4 & 5 white water. Along the river you will stop at a wilderness site where you will visit an authentic trapper’s cabin with its original furnishings and see how trappers lived in “Bush” Alaska at the turn of the century.

Your experienced guide will display raw furs from the local area and demonstrate trapping methods. Throughout the trip, Naturalists will acquaint you with the wildflowers and plants that grow in abundance along the river system.

As you travel further into the remote Alaskan wilderness you will have the ever present opportunities to view nesting bald eagles, beaver activity, and the possibility of viewing moose, salmon, black bear, and grizzly bears.
