Peak Season (May 31-Aug 29) Adventure Class: $1225 per person, double occupancy.
Day 1: Arrive in Anchorage on your own and spend your first night in downtown Anchorage at the Clarion Suites.
Day 2: Board the train the next morning for the trip south along Turnagain Arm and across the alpine reaches of the Kenai Mountains. (Depart Anchorage at 6:45am, arrive in Seward at 11:05) Once in Seward, cruise to Kenai Fjords National Park with Major Marine Tours.
The six-hour tour departs at 11:30am. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat prime rib and salmon feast onboard as you watch for wildlife.
Return to Anchorage by rail that evening (6pm train departure in Seward, arriving in Anchorage 10:15pm) and stay at the Clarion Suites.
Day 3: Board the Denali Star train the next morning for two glorious days at Denali National Park. Train departs Anchorage at 8:15am, arriving in Denali at 3:45pm. Overnight at McKinley Chalet.
Day 4: Explore Denali on your own.
Consider adding one of the fun day tours we offer in Denali such as rafting, heli-flightseeing, backcountry, ATV or Jeep tours, see Iditarod champions at Husky Homestead, or have a great time at Cabin Nite.

Day 5: Head to Fairbanks by rail and enjoy a night at Pikes Waterfront Lodge. Depart Denali at 3:55pm bound for Fairbanks and see the changing landscape as your trip extends into Alaska's Interior region. Arrive in Fairbanks at 8pm and spend the night at Pike's Waterfront Lodge.
Arrange for your own transportation home from Fairbanks. You may just want to stay longer, and we can help you with those plans if you do.
