The Real Alaska Tour 2 Days, 1 Night
Available May 15 - September 15, 2012
South of Anchorage you can see much of what Alaska is all about and this tour does it in two days. The train ride to Seward is said to be the most scenic of the entire 470-mile line.
Once you arrive in Seward the opportunity for hiking, fishing, shopping, dining and day cruises are abundant.
Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park feature marine wildlife, glaciers and the coastal landscape Alaska is famous for.
The next day, you'll visit the SeaLife Center to learn about Alaska's water creatures, big and small. Then enjoy the Real Alaska Tour: Visit a working sled dog operation and learn about what goes into preparing for the Iditarod. You'll even get to enjoy a sled dog ride of your own!
This package also includes a tour of Exit Glacier and a delicious lunch at an Alaska roadhouse.
