This Talkeetna day trip combines a ride on one of the nation's last flagstop trains with guided rafting. Ride the Hurricane Turn Train to the remote area of Chase, where you’ll take advantage of this train’s backcountry flagstop service and disembark to the wilderness. Join your guide on a short walk to the banks of the Susitna River. From here, enjoy a gentle float trip back to Talkeetna; your guide will make stops along the way to show you salmon spawning areas, walk on a glacial silt island, and view the flora and fauna. On a clear day, enjoy spectacular views of Denali and the Alaska Range.
