The Alaska Railroad offers dining and bar service for purchase on every passenger train with the exception of the Hurricane Turn Train; all guests are welcome to visit the Wilderness Café onboard for tasty grab-and-go items. Dining Room service is available to Adventure Class Passengers on the Coastal Classic only, but sit down dining is available in GoldStar Service on both the Coastal Classic and the Denali Star. Please note that our trains are cashless; for your convenience, we accept all major credit cards including debit and pre-paid cards that can be run as a credit.
GoldStar Service is inclusive of meals, soft drinks, and two complimentary adult beverages.

GoldStar passengers enjoy all-inclusive meal service in this full-service dining room as well as priority seating; as a GoldStar passenger, your boarding pass will be your ticket to your included meals. Our attentive waitstaff in GoldStar is eager to provide insights into the menu, emphasizing local ingredients. To ensure a pleasant experience during peak times, guests will be seated four to a table.
